South Gulf Cove
 

South Gulf Cove is a unique deed restricted waterfront community located in Port Charlotte off of Highway 771 on the Cape Haze peninsula. The community was developed on approximately 62,000 acres and includes more than 100 miles of roads and 126 canals totaling more than 50 miles of waterway. 

There are more than 15,000 lots in South Gulf Cove and approximately 4,700 are waterfront. The non-waterfront residents can access the canal system through the community boat ramp; providing boat owners access to the Myakka River, Charlotte Harbor, and the Gulf of Mexico through a lock system at the northern edge of the community. There are also a number of properties designated as having sailboat access meaning that there are no bridges to the harbor.

Presently there are approximately 600 existing homes in South Gulf Cove with many new construction homes being built each year.
The South Gulf Cove community is just minutes from shopping, white sand beaches and numerous golf courses. 

You will find a variety of architectural styles in South Gulf Cove from a few Key West styles to mostly Old Florida and Spanish Mediterranean styles with prices ranging from just under $300,000 to more than $900,000.

Lots in South Gulf Cove vary in prices ranging from $60,000 to $700,000 or more.
